Hilik Bar


MK Hilik Bar is the Secretary General of the Israeli Labor Party, the youngest person to serve in the position since the establishment of the Party. Elected as a member of the Knesset in January 2013, Hilik is also a Deputy Speaker of the Knesset. Hilik currently chairs the Knesset caucus to resolve the Arab – Israeli conflict.

During his first visit to Australia in September 2014, Hilik meet with ALP leader Bill Shorten and Deputy Labor leader Tanya Plibersek, New South Wales Labor leader John Robertson, Victorian Labor leader Daniel Andrews, Western Australian Labor leader Mark McGowan, and numerous ALP MPs and rank and file members.

A committed unionist, Michael has been an Assistant Secretary of the Australian Council of Trade Unions, Australia’s peak union council since November 2010. On several occasions, Michael has lead a mission of Australian trade union leaders to the Middle East to meet with Palestinian and Israeli counterparts.





Adam Slonim


Adam Slonim is a Director and active participant in a number of Australian companies involved in Corporate Strategy, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership & Sales Capability Development, Digital Learning Platforms, and Hi-tech Water technology sourced from Israeli companies. He has also participated on Trade Missions to Israel. Adam has also worked on the Board of a number of local Not-For- Profit organisations. Adam continues his family’s long association with the ALP, and is a life-long member of the Party.
