Since 2010, Australia Israel Labor Dialogue (AILD) has been promoting a dialogue between the labor movements in Australia and Israel.
We enjoy are strong relationship with The Democrats, the campaign successor to Havoda, the Israeli Labor Party,
AILD also has strong ties to the Histadrut, Israel’s oldest and largest trade union federation.
AILD works effectively with the supporters of Israel within the Australian Labor Party, and unions.
AILD has taken 10 missions to Israel, providing political and union leaders, both experienced and emerging, with an opportunity to experience Israel for themselves.

Those who seek to denigrate and delegitimise Israel are well resourced, attracting support from within Australia, and from overseas.
Israel is the Middle east’s only democracy, where all citizens enjoy equal status. Whilst a Jewish majority state, Arab citizens vote in free and fair elections, are members of political parties, and serve as MPs and judges. Unlike the dictatorships that surround Israel, all Israeli citizens, whether Jewish, Muslim and Christian enjoy legal protection against discrimination based on ethnicity, faith, sex and sexual preference.
